"On June 4, 2009, my wife and I were on our way to Clear Lake Texas from Concan, Texas for a memorial service for a really dear friend of ours. We had a blow out on our back tire. We had to be towed 74 miles back west to San Antonio, Texas. When I contacted Alamo City Hareley Davidison and told them what happened, and we wouldn't get there until around 7:00pm. Marcel said that they would be there for us. When we finally arrived, Ken was waiting for us. I told him that we were on our way to a memorial service and had to be there the next day. The next day came about and at 9:45am our bike was fixed and ready to ride. Your staff of Ken , Ron and Marcel are incredible and very undertanding "brothers". We made our dear friends memorial service, YOU ALL ROCK AT ALAMO CITY HARLEY DAVIDSON.

"Murphy’s Law states :If something can go wrong it will; and at the worst possible time! Well, that’s just what happened this past weekend. While traveling to San Antonio I had a mechanical problem just as we exited loop 1604.
Lucky for me, Murphy had never heard of Alamo City Harley and the Cowboy Way! I used my phone to locate Cowboy Alamo City HD and drove over. It was late Saturday afternoon and I went directly to the service department and asked for help. Ken (service writer) jumped on the bike right away and took it to the service area. Jesse (service tech) fixed the bike very quickly and had it performing like new. Did I say all of this happened late Saturday afternoon! Their willingness to go the extra mile really saved my weekend and the road trip.

"I am a retired judge from North Carolina and having some time on my hands, I decided to ride my Harley Ultra to San Antonio, store it, buy a bicycle and ride the bicycle from San Antonio to El Paso. I wanted to see where "Judge" Roy Bean dispensed justice in Langtry, Texas. Then I would return, donate my bicycle to charity, pick up my Harley and return to North Carolina.
Cowboys Alamo City Harley became an integral part of this plan. They changed my oil and stored my motorcycle while I was away. They gave great service. They were friendly and gave me a great sense of security as I left my motorcycle with them.
I particularly want to thank Ken Howie in the Service Dept. He is a super nice guy. Picked up on what I was trying to do right away and helped in every way he could. When I returned, he was very busy, but he took the time to get me out of the shop quickly. Great guy, great service. Also another gentleman named Kenneth (I didn't get his last name) was very helpful.

During this Neil, my salesman on all three bikes and James, the dealership manager, have always taken care of my every need and treated me fairly, But until now I have never really felt comfortable with the service manager. The new service manager, Jack has always been a big help with anything I needed done on my bike. All three are the reason why I will continue my business but until Jack came on board as the service manager I did not feel good about the service department. He is a great asset to the dealership."

"I have bought 2 new Harleys since August 2008 and both from salesman, James Mathis who is absolutely the best!! I am into accessories big-time and the Parts staff at Alamo City is unbelievable, caring and patience beyond words. Greg, in particular, redefines customer service.....what a sweetheart. He acts as though you are the only customer in the store. Then of course, these parts have to be installed. The Service Department treated me so well, making sure charges were fair and that I got a ride home when the job turned out to be a bit more complicated than anticipated. Ken went beyond the call of duty!! The technician responsible for the work on my bike was outstanding. Michael treated it as though it was his own, exhibiting extraordinary conscientiousness and pride in his work product. He took a difficult job, without proper materials on hand, and did beautiful work. I will always name-request Michael to work on my bikes. Alamo City should certainly be proud of their staff.....they sure put the customer first!! I have never had a dealing with anyone there who wasn't as nice and pleasant and helpful as could be. "Once again you guys came through with flying colors. I came in for my 10,000 mile maintence and you got me out in the fastest time yet. Ken Howie rounded up Ron on the tech crew and my bike was ready in less than 2 hrs. End of story? NO! No sooner than I stopped for gas a driver backs into my heritage and wipes out the rear turn signals. I came back to the dealership (the driver was more than happy to pay for the damages) ,Ken sent me to the collision department and those guys out there fixed it on the spot in less than an hour! That has to be a record time. This is positively the most outstanding service I have ever seen in my life. In my book, you guys deserve a 100 star rating. Thanks again."

"My memorial weekend turned "murphey on me on thursday.I noticed my rear tire was worm out so I headed to the service department. I didn't get there till almost 6 p.m. and at first the consensis was it wasn't going to happen. Somehow a tech decided to do the tire change and I was out before closing. Great job guys! End of story? NO! thevery next day on my way home haqd a blow out (the new tire] I got caught in the downpour. Thanks to Ken Howie for keeping the doors open till the wrecker could get me there. The next morning (saturday) the shop was full of customers bikes but they still got me on the road right after lunch. Just in time for the next downpour. Thank God for the coffee bar! Once again you guys came through with flying colors. This is the most rightous service team a rider could ask for! Thank you once again for your outstanding service. You saved my weekend. "living in corpus christi and being a harley owner has been a trying experience.i've bought two harleys so far ,both from alamo harley.t first in 2004 and again in 2009..first let me say that dealing with the harley shop in corpus is a pure nightmare and that's the nicest thing i can say about them without using profanity.so when i do need a harley shop it's off to san antonio for the assistance i need.the service was fair during the 2004 -2007time frame but i was very happy with the service i got this last week when i took my 09 dyna for it's first service this last tuesday.Robert and Ken were both very helpful and the time frame for my service was shorter than quoted by these two gentlemen.i also want to give my thanks and appreciation to the mechanics involved in performing the work so quickly ......thnx again for an experience that didn't turn into a total bummer........"

"These days it is truly rare to find an excellent Harley dearlership. I hate it when a parts department lies to hind their stupidity. The one here is knowledgable and if they didn't know something they said so and were open to customer input and ideas. I am VERY particular on who touches my baby. "All I can say is WOW! I've been to a number of dealerships and have never experienced the level of service you guys provide. First off...I was surprised when a couple of problems surfaced that they said "just bring it on over and we'll take a look." The other dealerships would require you to book an appointment and oh, by the way...the next opening is in three weeks. When I pulled up I was greeted promptly and told someone would be with me asap. Next thing I know Ken Howie and Eddie are going over my bike and Eddie has already diagnosed (and fixed) the primary problem. Not only that, he thoroughly cleaned the front fender where brake fluid had spilled. I haven't met other members of your service team but if they are as good with customers as Ken and Eddie you have no worries mate! "

"Today I had a problem with my '05 Road King while I was at the store. Jonathan Quintanilla came over and asked what the problem was. I stated that the bike seemed to have an electrical problem. He put me in touch with Ken Howie who took a look at the bike and thought he knew what the problem might be. He took the bike and had a tech look at it and within an hour or so he had me back on the road with the problem solved. I can't say enough about your service people. Their genuine concern, attitude and customer service was nice to experience. My last experience at the other H-D dealership was so bad I finally had to contact H-D in Milwaukee to get something done. Sam sold me the bike. was fair, even and a pleasure to purchase my bike from. during the course of talking i told him i would need a chase vehicle for the driving part of the license process. he said no problem. and none it was. he tied up himself one other person and the company truck. all i can say is with the best a hand shake and the mans word is all it takes. now i gotta go and put some miles on this 09 FXD 96c. fuel injection so when i trade her in B-4 my 2yrs are up to get top dollar for her. see ya on the road..."

"Where ever I travel on business, I typically pull out the yellow pages to locate the nearest H-D dealer. I was in San Antonio last week and stopped by your establishment to pick up a long sleeve shirt with your logo, to add to my collection. The choices were plenty, but what made my day was how your cashier (MDH) noticed my military retiree ID card and passed on a 15% discount without hesitation. I'm fairly new to the H-D family, but often impressed with the relationships the H-D dealers have with the military. "I live just about a mile from another HD dealership (78245). I've visted there three times and haven't gotten a smile let alone a greeting once. From the moment we (my wife and I) walked into Cowboys ACHD we were met with a hello and a welcome. Bryce stepped right up and ask if he could help us find what we were looking for. He then left us to browse in peace. Before we left, he gave us quotes on the bikes we were looking at and his card with his cell# handwritten on the back. "I recently relocated to SA and knew of the prior owners reputation for bad service. I was very reluctant to bring my bike there but when I got it back it was very evident that the 15K service was very thorough; shifting quieter, primary chain quieter, front brake tight, clutch smooth. Very good.
PROBLEM-defective front tire put on the front. I rode to Canyon Lake and had a flat. Sure hosed up my Saturday, but I have to say you guys did the right thing and replaced the tire and tube. That shows a strong commitment toward ethical service.
Also, Michael in service and all of the service staff have been great. I also thought it was a very nice touch to have the technition call me when the original service was done.

I RECENTLY HAD A BELT BREAK AT 18K MILES, I CALLED ACHD AND THEY QUICKLY PICKED ME UP AND PLACED A NEW BELT WHICH THEY DID NOT HAVE IN STOCK AT ACHD AND I WAS BACK ON THE ROAD WITHIN A FEW HOURS, PAYNE WHO WAS ATTEMPTING TO INTEREST ME IN SOME ACCESSORIES SEEMED TO KEEP THE BALL ROLLING AND I WAS OUT OF THERE WAY FASTER THAN POSSIBLE!! The motorclothes Manager Jeff and his staff went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I was looking for. Jeff and Sarah V. gave me the best customer service I have ever received in A H-D dealership(and trust me, my husband and I have been to alot!!). It was so PACKED in your store, and Jeff was being pulled every which way, but never once made me feel like I was not the most important person in your store. When he was having to help others, Sarah stepped right in, and did her thing. I know I am going on and on, but it means alot to me and my husband that a Manager that is being called on by everyone in the store would take time to stop and help us for over an hour. "I cannot comment on the total purchase experience as yet becasue I just ordered my bike and it is not in yet. however I want to convey the very positive experience I and my friends had in our recent visit to Alamo Harley-Davidson. I and my riding friends are all from Austin and decided that we all wanted to purchase new Ultra's with ABS. We were impressed with the friendly and professional interaction we experienced form everyone we met at Alamo HD. Our salesman (Neil Nikotich) was very responsive and made the process of ordering the first four Ultras a real pleasure. Sales management, the receptionist, service department and parts people all greeted us and made us feel welcome. We still have three members that may want to purchase new bikes, and we will definately direct them to Alamo HD.
